Weekend Shuttle Service To The Big E For CTrail Hartford Line Passengers Announced

(Newington, CT) – The Connecticut Department of Transportation announced today the availability of a free weekend shuttle bus for CTrail Hartford Line passengers traveling to the Big E in West Springfield, Massachusetts.

The Big E free weekend shuttle service from Springfield Union Station for Hartford Line customers will operate this year on the weekends of September 15th-16th, 22nd-23rd and 29th-30th. The shuttle service is being paid for by the Big E.

The schedule for the trains and shuttles from Springfield Union Station to The Big E is as follows:

CTrail 6400 Arrival – 9:45am
Big E Shuttle Pick Up – 10:00am

Amtrak 450 Arrival – 10:13am

Big E Shuttle Pick Up – 10:30am

Amtrak 460 Arrival – 12:18pm

Big E Shuttle Pick Up – 12:30pm

Amtrak 464 Arrival – 4:24pm

Big E Shuttle Pick Up – 4:45pm

All weekend Hartford Line train schedules are available at www.hartfordline.com. The shuttle will be a white Big E van and will board passengers at the Pick-Up/Drop-Off area on Frank B. Murray Street at Springfield Union Station.  At The Big E, the shuttle pick-up and drop-off is located at the Transportation Center near the Fair’s Gate 1.
