REVISED and UPDATED

CTDOT Seeks Food Truck Vendors for Fairfield Metro Train Station

Note: Because of weather forecasts, the mandatory site visit for interested proposers has been moved to Wednesday, February 15, and the new due date for RFP responses is February 28, 2017.

In response to recent requests from commuters, the Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is seeking one or more food truck vendors to operate on weekday mornings at the Fairfield Metro train station in Fairfield. The agency is issuing a Request for Proposals (RFP) for potential operators this week.

The food truck would be located in the 1,400-space parking lot adjacent to the station, which opened in December 2011.

Interested vendors may contact Daniel M. Baker in CTDOT’s Office of Rail – 203 497-3363 or Daniel.Baker @ct.gov – to receive the RFP. Responses to the RFP are due on February 28, 2017.

A mandatory pre-bid conference and site visit is scheduled for Wednesday, February 15, 2017, at 10:30 a.m. for all prospective proposers. This conference will be held in the parking lot at the station, located at 300 Ash Creek Boulevard.

RFP respondents must be registered with the Secretary of the State to do business in the State of Connecticut.
