Oversize / Overweight Permitting System Scheduled to be Offline for 23 Hours to Facilitate System Upgrade – No Permits to be Issued During Outage

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that beginning on Wednesday, September 20, 2017, at 3 PM, and ending on Thursday, September 21, at 2 PM, the online Oversize/Overweight Vehicle Permitting System will be offline and unavailable for users while the system is upgraded. No permits can be generated during the scheduled outage. Users are urged to obtain any necessary permitting prior to the scheduled outage.

The new web-based system will be more user friendly, versatile and compatible with future upgrades.
