I-95 New Haven Open House

The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) District 3A invites the public to the I-95 New Haven Harbor Crossing (NHHC) Corridor Improvement Program's 6th Annual Open House on Saturday, May 2, 2015 between the hours of 10 AM and 2 PM. The highlight of the Open House will be guided field tours of active construction. Guests will be bussed to various construction sites, stopping for an opportunity to walk around the new infrastructure and take photographs. This will be the public's last opportunity to tour the new Southbound Pearl Harbor Memorial (Q) Bridge before I-95 traffic is shifted onto it for the first time this fall.

Construction site field tours will leave from the Program Office parking lot, 424 Chapel Street, New Haven. Guests are asked to dress in long pants and closed toed shoes. Vests, hard hats and safety glasses will be provided. Space is limited on these tours and the public is asked to RSVP in advance to assure a place on the tour.

In addition to the tour, there will be informational exhibits for each active project on the Program, 3D / 4D Digital Modeling, Bicycle / Pedestrian Accommodations and projects by the City of New Haven, among others.

To RSVP or to request more information, please email info@i95newhaven.com or call (203) 752-1996 to speak with our Public Information Office.
