Bus Service for Some New Canaan Branch Trains October 3-5

                Buses will be substituted for some off-peak trains this Friday, Saturday and Sunday – October 3-5 – on the New Canaan Branch of the New Haven commuter rail line to allow for track maintenance. The New Canaan Branch operates between New Canaan and Stamford, making connections to New York City and New Haven.

                Buses will be substituted for trains leaving New Canaan for Stamford on Friday, October 3, at 10:20 p.m. and 11:20 p.m. Buses will be substituted for trains leaving Stamford for New Canaan at 9:58 p.m., 10:58 p.m., 12:14 a.m. and 12:59 a.m.

                On Saturday and Sunday, October 4 & 5, buses will be substituted for all trains between New Canaan and Stamford in both directions.

                Buses may operate earlier than scheduled trains and customers are encouraged to listen for announcements and check local or express bus service to various destinations while boarding.
