CTDOT Announces FHWA Funding to Provide Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Supportive Services
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that the Federal Highway Administration will provide $178,614 in funding to CTDOT for business development services to eligible CTDOT DBE firms.
The Business Development Program will provide services to DBE firms who are ready, willing and able to compete for and perform on federal-highway projects. The assistance and services provided under this program are designed to enable DBE firms to operate more efficiently, and to enhance their ability to be successful in a competitive marketplace. Firms participating in this program will receive a business assessment and a development plan. Some of the services to be offered under the program include financial management assistance, construction management assistance, operational management assistance and procurement assistance.
