NEWINGTON, Conn.-Acting Transportation Commissioner H. James Boice announced today that a Bridge Maintenance project will be performed on I-95 (northbound) between Exits 43 and 45, in West Haven.  This project is scheduled to take place on or about Wednesday, April 16, 2008.

Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone.  The regular work schedule for this project is 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. (Wednesday evening). If cancelled due to weather, the reschedule date would be Thursday, April 17, 2008. 

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving through the work area.
