Nighttime Bridge Repairs on Route 8 North and South in Naugatuck
The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing nighttime bridge repairs on Route 8 north and southbound at Exit 29 through Exit 26 in Naugatuck starting Monday, April 29 through July 14, 2024.

Motorists can expect alternating lanes to be closed from Exit 29 through 26 on Route 8 north and southbound in Naugatuck. Traffic control signing patterns and crash units will guide motorists through the work zone. The night work schedule for this project is 7:30 p.m. to 5:30 a.m., Sunday – Thursday, weather permitting.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this area.
