The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Route 162 in Milford. The project consists of milling and resurfacing 1.25 miles of Route 162 in Milford. This project is scheduled to occur the night of Sunday, June 9 through the morning of Monday June 24, 2024. The milling segment of this project is anticipated to be performed on Sunday, June 9 through Wednesday, June 12, 2024. The resurfacing segment of this project is anticipated to be performed on Monday, June 17 through Monday morning, June 24, 2024.
This project is included in the CTDOT’s 2024 Vendor Resurfacing Program.
LANE CLOSURE INFO
Motorists can expect lane closures on Route 162 from US 1 (Boston Post Road) to Factory Lane. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will guide motorists through the work zone. The night work schedule for this project is 7:00 p.m. to 5:30 a.m., Sunday night through Friday morning.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this area.
