The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that a bridge maintenance project will be performed on I-91 southbound in Hartford. The project consists of bridge repairs on Bridge #01468 I-91 southbound over Reserve Road and CSO Railroad. This project is being performed by state forces, with work to begin on Sunday, June 16, 2024. Work hours are Sunday - Thursday nights, 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.
This project is administered by CTDOT’s 2024 bridge maintenance, District 1 in Hartford Bridge Department.

Motorists can expect limited access in Hartford on I-91 southbound at mile marker 37.3, bridge 1468 over Reserve Road and CSO Railroad. Traffic control personnel and sign patterns will guide motorists through the work zone. The work schedule for this project is Sunday, June 16 through Thursday, July 25, 2024, 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this area. No work will be performed around any scheduled holidays.
