Wrong Way Driver Public Service Announcement Filming on I-84 Westbound in Manchester
The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing filming of a Wrong Way Diver Public Service Announcement will be held on Thursday, February 9, 2023 Interstate 384 westbound in Manchester between 10 p.m. - 2 a.m.
Overnight, filming will take place showing of the wrong way driver flashing light detection system on I-384 westbound between Exit 4 and Exit 2 in Manchester. This demonstration is to be Thursday, February 9, 2023. The rain date will be Monday, February 13, 2023.
LANE CLOSURE INFO
Motorists can expect highway and ramp closures on I-384 westbound Exit 4 to Exit 2 in Manchester. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists around the work zone. Night filming schedule for this project is from 10:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. Thursday, February 9, 2023.
DETOUR INFO
Take Exit 4 left onto SR534 (Highland Street), take to Route 83 (Main Street), right continue on Main Street to Route 6 & 44, left follow to SR 502 (West Center Street) to ramps to I-384.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
