Wrong Way Detection Installation: I-84 Westbound Exit 32 Ramp in Southington
The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that a Wrong Way Detection Installation will be performed on the I-84 westbound Exit 32 in Southington starting on Tuesday, October 3, 2023 from 8:00 pm to 6:00 am.
This project is administered by CTDOT Electrical Sign Installation, District 1.
LANE CLOSURE INFO/DETOUR INFO
Motorists can expect exit ramp closures on I-84 Westbound Exit 32 in Southington. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will guide motorists around the work zone.
Traffic will be detoured to Exit 31, proceed left onto route 229, left to I-84 eastbound, then to Exit 32.
The regular work schedule for this project is from 8:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Tuesday October 3, 2023.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this area.
