Tree Removal Operation in Bethany
The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that a tree removal operation will require alternate lane closure on Route 42 (Cheshire Road) from Route 69 (Carrington Road) to Route 63 (Amity Road).
The work is scheduled to occur in the daytime from Monday April 10, 2023 through Friday May 5, 2023.
The work will be performed by Asplundh Tree and CTDOT Tree Crews.
LANE CLOSURE INFO
Motorists can expect alternate lane closure to occur on Route 42 (Cheshire Road) in Bethany. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The daytime work schedule for this project is from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (Monday through Friday).
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
