Tree Removal: Route 9 in Cromwell

The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that tree removal will be performed on Route 9 in Cromwell starting Monday, November 27, 2023 through February 2, 2024 between exits 24 and 31.

The regular work schedule for this tree removal is from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. J & J Brothers will be performing the tree removal work.

LANE CLOSURE INFO:

Motorists can expect lane closures on Route 9 in Cromwell. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will guide motorists through the work zone.

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this area. No work will be performed around any scheduled holidays.
