The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that a safety improvement project will be performed on Interstate 395, Northbound and Southbound, in Norwich.
The project consists of installing guide rail on I-395, Northbound and Southbound, in Norwich between Exit 14 to the Scotland Hill Road underpass. This project is scheduled to begin on Monday, January 30, 2023, through Tuesday, February 28, 2023.
This work is being performed by Atlas Industrial LLC. The vendor shall supply the Call-Before-You-Dig number for this location.
LANE CLOSURE INFO:
Motorists can expect lane and shoulder closures to occur on I-395, northbound and southbound, in
Norwich between Exit 14 to the Scotland Hill Road underpass. State police, crash attenuator vehicles and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (Monday – Friday).
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
