The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that the intersection of Route 34 Berkshire Road and Wasserman Way will be intermediately closed for milling and paving starting on Sunday, September 17, 2023.
Traffic will be maintained during the work. The noted traffic shifts below are scheduled to occur on Sunday, September 17 to Wednesday, September 20,2023 for overnight milling and paving operations.
CTDOT Project No. 0096-0204 was awarded to A.M. Rizzo at a cost of $25,188,198.00 on September 21, 2021, and is scheduled to be completed on September 1, 2023. This project is administered by CTDOT Bureau of Engineering and Construction, Office of Construction, District 4 in Thomaston.
LANE CLOSURE INFO
The intersection of Route 34 & Wasserman Way in both directions in Sandy Hook will be closed starting Sunday September 15, to Tuesday, September 20, 2023 for overnight milling and paving from 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. There will be alternate Lane closures of Wasserman Way from Route 34 to the Commuter Lot and alternate lane closures of Route 34 Berkshire Road from Wasserman Way to Toddy Hill Road.
