The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Route 320 in Mansfield and Willington from Route 195 (Storrs Road) to the end of Route 320.
The project DOT01710497CN “F” consists of milling and resurfacing a 7.05-mile segment of Route 320.
This project is scheduled to begin milling by Rafferty Fine Grading, Inc. on Monday May 22,2023, to Tuesday May 30,2023. The resurfacing segment of this project is anticipated to begin on Wednesday June 7, 2023, to Thursday July 13, 2023, by All States Construction.
Memorial Day is being observed, no work will be performed from 6:00 a.m. Friday May26, 2023, Saturday May 27, 2023, Sunday May 28, 2023, Monday May 29, 2023, until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday May 30, 2023.
Independence Day is being observed, no work will be performed from 6:00 a.m. on Friday, June 30,2023, Saturday July 1,2023, Sunday, July, 2,2023, Monday July, 3, 2023, Tuesday July, 4, 2023, until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday July 5, 2023.
This project is included in the Department of Transportation’s 2023 Vendor Resurfacing Program.
LANE CLOSURE INFO/DETOUR INFO
Motorists can expect lane closures on, Route 320 in Mansfield and Willington from Route 195 (Storrs Road) to the end of Route 320. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The Day work schedule for this project is 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (Monday – Friday).
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
