Milling and Resurfacing Route 275 in Coventry and Mansfield

The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Route 275 in Coventry and Mansfield from Route 31 (Main Street) to Route 32 (Stafford Road).

The project (DOT01710466CN “H”) consists of milling and resurfacing a 2.01-mile segment of Route 275 in Coventry and Mansfield from Route 31 (Main Street) to Route 32 (Stafford Road).

This project is scheduled to begin milling at Night by Rafferty Fine Grading, Inc. on Thursday April 27, 2023, to Friday, April 28, 2023.

The resurfacing segment of this project will be Days and is anticipated to begin on Monday, May 1, 2023, to Friday May 5, 2023, by All States Construction.

This project is included in the Department of Transportation’s 2023 Vendor Resurfacing Program.

LANE CLOSURE INFO/DETOUR INFO

Motorists can expect lane closures on Route 275 in Coventry and Mansfield from Route 31 (Main Street) to Route 32 (Stafford Road). Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone.

The schedule for the milling will be 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.  (Thursday – Friday)

The schedule for paving, on this project is 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (Monday - Friday).

During paving, there will be one day Route 275 will be closed the detour will be Route 31 to Route 32.

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
