Milling and Resurfacing on Route 200 in Thompson
The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Route 200 in Thompson.
The project consists of milling and resurfacing a 1.87-mile segment of Route 200 in Thompson. The milling segment for this project is scheduled for Wednesday, May 3, 2023, through Friday, May 5, 2023. Roadway leveling is tentatively scheduled for Monday, May 8, 2023. The resurfacing segment of this project is anticipated to be performed on Monday, July 17, 2023, through Thursday, July 20, 2023.
This project is included in the Department of Transportation’s 2023 Vendor Resurfacing Program.
LANE CLOSURE INFO:
Motorists can expect lane closures to occur on Route 200 from Route 12 (Riverside Drive) to the end of
Route 200 in Thompson. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (Monday – Friday).
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
