Milling and Resurfacing Project: Route 138 in Sprague and Lisbon
The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Route 138 in Sprague and Lisbon starting on Friday, September 8 through Friday, September 15, 2023. The project consists of milling and resurfacing a 1.24-mile segment of Route 138 in Sprague and Lisbon. The milling segment for this project is scheduled for Friday, September 8 through Monday, September 11, 2023. The resurfacing segment of this project is anticipated to be performed on Monday, September 11 through Friday, September 15, 2023.
This project is included in CTDOT’s 2023 Vendor Resurfacing Program.
LANE CLOSURE INFO:
Motorists can expect lane closures to occur on Route 138 from Riverside Drive in Sprague to Service Route 600 (Kinsman Hill Road) in Lisbon. Traffic control personnel, crash attenuator vehicles and signing patterns will guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday – Friday.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this area.
