Mill and Fill Project on Interstate 95 Northbound in New Haven
The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that a mill and fill resurfacing project will be performed on Interstate 95 northbound in the left lane by the Exit 50 off-ramp in New Haven.
This project is scheduled to occur Thursday, May 18, 2023 through Friday May 19, 2023. The milling segment of this project is anticipated to be performed on Thursday, May 18, 2023 through Friday, May 19, 2023. The resurfacing segment of this project is anticipated to be performed on Thursday, May 18, 2023 through Friday, May 19, 2023.
No work will be performed from 6:00 am Friday, May 26, 2023, until 8:00 pm Tuesday, May 30, 2023, due to the Memorial Day Holiday.
LANE CLOSURE INFO
Motorists can expect lane closures on Interstate 95 North Bound from I-95/Route 34 interchange to exit 51 Northbound off-ramp. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The night work schedule for this project is 7:30 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. (Thursday night through Friday morning)
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
