Micro Milling on I-84 in Hartford/East Hartford.
The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that micro milling will be performed on I-84 in Hartford and East Hartford starting Sunday, October 8 through Wednesday, October 11, 2023. The project consists of micro milling on Interstate 84 east and westbound between exits 48 to 51 in Hartford and Interstate 84 eastbound between exits 53 to 56 in East Hartford. The work will be performed by Tilcon Connecticut.
LANE CLOSURE INFO:
Motorists can expect lane closures on Interstate 84 east and westbound between exits 48 to 51 in Hartford and Interstate 84 eastbound only between exits 53 to 56 in East Hartford. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will guide motorists through the work zone. The night work schedule for this micro milling is 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m., Sunday through Wednesday.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this area.
