Metal Beam Guiderail Upgrade Project in Beacon Fall
The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing a guiderail upgrade project will be performed on Route 8 northbound and southbound between Exits 25 and 24 in Beacon Falls.
The project consists of upgrading existing guide rail systems to current standard systems on Route 8 North and South in Beacon Falls. Location is Route 8 North and South between Exits 25 and 24. The upgrades are scheduled to begin on or about Monday, May 8, 2023 and continue through Friday, June 16, 2023. No work performed on the day before or the day after the Memorial Day Holiday.
LANE CLOSURE INFO
Motorists can expect lane closures on Route 8. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (Monday – Friday).
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
