Daytime Bridge Repairs in Harwinton
The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing daytime bridge repairs will take place starting on Thursday, March 2, 2023 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Route 8 northbound and southbound in Harwinton, Torrington.
The project consists of Bridge Deck repairs from Exit 42 to Exit 45.
LANE CLOSURE INFO
Motorists can expect alternating lane closures on Route 8 northbound & southbound between the Exits 42 and 45. Traffic control personnel and detour patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The work schedule for this project is 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (Monday - Friday)
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
