The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that a concrete repair project will be performed during the day on Bridge #174a (Q-Bridge) on Interstate 95 Southbound in New Haven.
The project consists of concrete deck repair on Interstate 95 Southbound in New Haven between Exit 51 (Route 1 Saltonstall Parkway) and Exit 47 (Sargent Drive). This project is scheduled to occur on Saturday, January 28, 2023. The rain date for this work is Sunday, January 29, 2023.
The work is included in the CTDOT 2023 bridge maintenance program to support State Forces with bridge repairs and is being performed by State Forces.

Motorists can expect left lane & center lane closures to occur on Interstate 95 Southbound between Exit 51 and Exit 47, in New Haven. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The work schedule for this project is from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule might become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
