Bridge Work on Route 234 Pequot Trail Road over I95 Southbound in North Stonington
The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that a bridge repair will be performed on Bridge #01797 carrying Route 234 Pequot Trail Road over Interstate 95 southbound in North Stonington.
This steel repair, clean and paint work is scheduled to occur on Monday, March 27, 2023 through approximately Friday, June 30, 2023.
LANE CLOSURE INFO
Motorists can expect a various lane closure on I-95 southbound in North Stonington from the Exit 91 off-ramp southbound to the Deans Mill Overpass. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone.
The regular work schedule for this project is from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday, March 27, 2023, through approximately Friday, June 30, 2023. No work will be conducted before and after the following holidays: Good Friday, Friday, April 7, Memorial Day, Monday, May 29 and Juneteenth, Monday, June 19.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
