Bridge Maintenance on Interstate 84 Westbound in Hartford on-ramps from Asylum Street and Capital Avenue
The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that a bridge maintenance project will be performed on Interstate 84 Westbound in Hartford Thursday, January 5, 2023.
The project (DOT01703583CN) consists of bridge repairs on I-84 Westbound in Hartford. This project is being performed by state forces under Rapid Response with work to occur on Thursday, January 5, 2023.
This project is administered by the Department of Transportation’s 2023 bridge maintenance, District 1 Hartford Bridge Department.

Motorists can expect limited access in Hartford on I-84 Westbound on-ramps from Asylum Street and Capital Avenue bridge # 4295. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists with limited access through the work zone. Work schedule for this project is from 8 p.m. to 12 a.m.
