The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that a bridge maintenance project will be performed on Interstate 91 northbound in New Haven starting on Monday, August 21 through Friday, September 8, 2023. The project consists of asphaltic joint installations to Interstate 91 northbound in New Haven.
The work is included CTDOT’s 2023 bridge maintenance program to support state forces with bridge repairs and is being performed by Dynamic Surface Applications.
LANE CLOSURE INFO
Motorists can expect lane closures on Interstate 91 northbound in New Haven between Exit 6 (Willow Street) and Exit 8 (Foxon Boulevard). Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is from 7:30 p.m. to 5:30 a.m., Sunday evenings through Friday mornings.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this area.
