The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing the replacement and installation of curve warning signs, chevrons and retro-reflective strips at horizontal curves on State-owned and maintained roads starting March 1, 2022. Work may include shoulder and lane closures.
Work will be performed at various locations in District 1 (Central CT) in the Counties of Hartford, Tolland, Windham, Middlesex and New Haven at the following Routes and Interstates:

DOT Project No. 0171-0440 was awarded to Discount Fence of Connecticut LLC at a cost of $2,003,234.45 on November 4, 2021 and is scheduled to be completed on November 18, 2022. The project is being administered by the Bureau of Engineering and Construction, Office of Construction District 1, Rocky Hill.

Lane closures for ramps, turning roadways and all other project roadways may occur Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and/or 6 p.m. to 6 a.m., and Saturday and Sunday from 6 p.m. to 10 a.m.
