The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on SR 809 in Norwalk.
The project consists of milling and resurfacing 0.74 miles of SR 809 in Norwalk. This project is scheduled to occur Sunday, July 24, 2022, through Friday August 2, 2022. The milling segment of this project is anticipated to be performed on Sunday, July 24, 2022, through Tuesday, July 26, 2022. The resurfacing segment of this project is anticipated to be performed on Sunday, July 31, 2022, through Tuesday, August 2, 2022.
This project is included in the Department of Transportation’s 2022 Vendor Resurfacing Program.
LANE CLOSURE INFO
Motorists can expect lane closures on SR 809 from US-1 (Belden Avenue) to Route 123 (New Canaan Avenue). Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The night work schedule for this project is Sunday through Friday from 7 p.m. to 5:30 a.m.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
