Milling and Resurfacing Route 12 in Putnam and Killingly

The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that a milling and resurfacing project will take place on Route 12 in Putnam and Killingly.

The project consists of milling and resurfacing a 4.84-mile segment of Route 12 in Putnam and Killingly. The milling segment for this project is scheduled for Friday, August 19, 2022 through Tuesday, August 30, 2022. The resurfacing segment of this project is anticipated to take place on Tuesday, September 6, 2022 through Wednesday, September 28, 2022. No work will take place on the Labor Day Holiday.

 

This project is included in the CTDOT 2022 Vendor Resurfacing Program.

 

LANE CLOSURE INFO:

Motorists can expect lane closures to occur on Route 12 from Town Farm Road #2 in Putnam to Heritage Road in Killingly. The regular work schedule for this project is Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will guide motorists through the work zone. 

 

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
