The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Route 80 in North Branford.
The project consists of milling and resurfacing 1.44 miles of Route 80 in North Branford. This project is scheduled to occur Sunday, May 15, 2022 through Friday June 3, 2022. The milling segment of this project is anticipated to be performed on Sunday, May 15, 2022 through Monday, May 23, 2022. The resurfacing segment of this project is anticipated to be performed on Monday, May 23, 2022 through Friday, June 3, 2022.
No work will be performed on Monday, May 30, 2022 due to the Memorial Day Holiday.
This project is included in the Department of Transportation’s 2022 Vendor Resurfacing Program.
LANE CLOSURE INFO
Motorists can expect lane closures on Route 80 from Edward Road to Route 139 (Branford Road). The work schedule for this project is Sunday through Friday from 7 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
