Milling and Resurfacing on Route 82 in Lyme and East Haddam

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Route 82 in Lyme and East Haddam.

The project consists of milling and resurfacing a 3.27-mile segment of Route 82 in Lyme and East Haddam. The milling segment for this project is scheduled for Monday, April 25, 2022. The resurfacing segment of this project is anticipated to be performed on Monday, May 2, 2022 through Friday, May 13, 2022.

 

This project is included in the Department of Transportation’s 2022 Vendor Resurfacing Program.

 

LANE CLOSURE INFO:

Motorists can expect lane closures to occur on Route 82 from Route 148 (Ferry Road) in Lyme to Route 156 (Hamburg Road) in East Haddam. The regular work schedule for this project is Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone.  

 

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
