The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on the Route 32 access ramp to Route 2 eastbound in Norwich.
The project consists of milling and resurfacing the Route 32 access ramp to Route 2 eastbound in Norwich and will require a temporary ramp closure. The milling portion of the project work is scheduled for Friday, June 17, 2022, with a rain date of Monday, June 20, 2022. The resurfacing portion of the project work is scheduled for Tuesday, June 21, 2022, with a rain date of Wednesday, June 22, 2022.

Motorists can expect a ramp closure to occur on the Route 32 access ramp to Route 2 eastbound in Norwich. Variable message boards will be set up approximately one week prior to the work beginning. A temporary detour will be in place utilizing state roads only. The ramp closure will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. during the operation. Crash attenuator vehicles and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the detour.
