The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Route 127 in Bridgeport.
The project consists of milling and resurfacing 2.24 miles of Route 127. This project is scheduled to occur Wednesday, May 18, 2022 through Monday June 6, 2022. The milling segment of this project is anticipated to be performed on Wednesday, May 18, 2022 through Tuesday, May 24, 2022. The resurfacing segment of this project is anticipated to be performed on Wednesday, May 25, 2022 through Monday, June 6, 2022.
No work will be performed from 6 a.m. Friday, May 27, 2022 until 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 31, 2022 due to the Memorial Day Holiday.
This project is included in the Department of Transportation’s 2022 Vendor Resurfacing Program.
LANE CLOSURE INFO
Motorists can expect lane closures on Route 127 from Rt.130 (Stratford Avenue) to SR730 (Huntington Turnpike). Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The work schedule for this project is Sunday through Friday from 7 p.m. to 5:30 a.m.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
