Milling and Paving Project, Route 123 Norwalk
The project consists of milling and paving resurfacing 0.996 miles of Route 123 in the Town of Norwalk. This project is scheduled to occur Sunday, October 16, 2022 through Monday October 31, 2022. The milling segment of this project is anticipated to be performed on Sunday, October 16, 2022 through Wednesday, October 19, 2022. The resurfacing segment of this project is anticipated to be performed on Sunday, October 23, 2022 through Monday, October 31, 2022.
This project is an addition to the Department of Transportation’s 2022 Vendor Resurfacing Program.
LANE CLOSURE INFO
Motorists can expect lane closures on Route 123 from Riverside Ave. to North Ave. (US-1). Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The night work schedule for this project is 7:00 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. (Sunday night through Friday morning)
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
