Electrical Sign Installation (wrong way driver), Route 9 Northbound Exit 25 Off-ramp in New Britain

The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that an electrical sign installation will be performed on Route 9 Northbound Exit 25 in New Britain Monday, November 14 and Tuesday, November 15 between 7 p.m. – 5 a.m.

This project (DOT0171-0457CN) is administered by the Department of Transportation’s 2022 Electrical Sign Installation, District 1.

 

LANE CLOSURE INFO:

Motorists can expect ramp closures on Route 9 Northbound, Exit 25 in New Britain. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. Work schedule for this project is from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday night into Tuesday morning.

DETOUR INFO:

Follow Route 9, Northbound to Exit 29. At the traffic signal take a left onto Route 175 at the next traffic signal take a left onto Route 9 Southbound. Follow Route 9 Southbound to Exit 25.

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
