Electrical Sign Installation (wrong way driver), I-84 Westbound Exit 29 Off-ramp in Southington.

The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that an electrical sign installation project will be performed on Interstate 84 Westbound Exit 29 in Southington on Wednesday, November 2 to Thursday, November 3 between 7 p.m. - 5 a.m.

This project is administered by the Department of Transportation’s 2022 Electrical Sign Installation, District 1.

 

LANE CLOSURE INFO

Motorists can expect exit ramp closures on I-84 Westbound Exit ramp 29 in Southington. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists around the work zone. Night work schedule for this project is from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. Wednesday night into Thursday Morning

DETOUR INFO

Exit 28, traffic light right onto Route 322 to Route 10, left onto Norton Street, follow Route 10 to Mulberry Street, I-84 entrance is straight ahead.

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
