Electrical Sign Installation (wrong way driver), I-291 Westbound Exit 4 off-ramp in South Windsor

The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that an electrical sign installation project will be performed on Interstate 291 Westbound Exit 4 in South Windsor on Thursday, November 3 and Friday, November 4, 2022 between 7 p.m. - 5 a.m.

This project is administered by the Department of Transportation’s 2022 Electrical Sign Installation, District 1.

 

LANE CLOSURE INFO

Motorists can expect exit ramp closures on I-291 Westbound exit ramp 4 in South Windsor. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists around the work zone. Night work schedule for this project is from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. Thursday night into Friday Morning.

DETOUR INFO

Follow 291 Exit 3 Deerfield Road left at traffic light, left at stop sign enter I-291 eastbound Exit 4 to Route 5.

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
