Electrical Sign Installation (wrong way driver) on I-84 Westbound Exit 58 HOV ramp in East Hartford
The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that an electrical sign installation project will be performed on I-84 Westbound in East Hartford on Friday, November 18, 2022 ending Saturday, November 19, 2022 from 7:00 p.m. - 5:00 a.m.
This project (DOT0171-0457CN) is administered by the Department of Transportation’s 2022 Electrical Sign Installation, District 1.
LANE CLOSURE INFO:
Motorists can expect exit ramp closures on I-84 Westbound exit ramp 58 HOV in East Hartford. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists around the work zone. Night work schedule for this project is from 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. Friday night into Saturday morning.
DETOUR INFO:
Take Exit 57 Charter Oak Bridge, Take Exit 90 Silver Lane, Right off the exit then straight onto I-84 Westbound.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
