Electrical Sign Installation (wrong way driver), I-84 Eastbound Exit 28 Off-ramp in Southington
The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that an electrical sign installation project will be performed on Interstate 84 Eastbound Exit 28 off-ramp in Southington on Tuesday, November 1 to Wednesday, November 2 between 7 p.m. - 5 a.m.
This project is administered by the Department of Transportation’s 2022 Electrical Sign Installation, District 1.
LANE CLOSURE INFO
Motorists can expect exit ramp closures on I84 East Bound exist ramp 28 in Southington. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists around the work zone. Night work schedule for this project is from 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. Tuesday night into Wednesday Morning.

Exit 30, left at stop sign and left at traffic light, left at second traffic light onto I-84 westbound Exit 28 Route 322.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
