The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that a bridge maintenance project will be performed on The Mystic Drawbridge (Bridge No.00362) on Route 1/East Main Street in Mystic.
The project consists of Surveying the bridge. This project is scheduled to occur on October 4-7, 2022.
This project is included in the Department of Transportation’s Bridge Maintenance program to support state forces with bridge repairs and is being performed by JAG Consultants.

No scheduled lane closures. Motorists can expect a work zone on Route 1 between Water Street/Route 215 and Willow Street. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The night work schedule for this project is from 7:30pm to 5:00am.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
