Scheduled Right-Lane Closure to Occur on I-84 Westbound in Waterbury
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing the upcoming scheduled right-lane closure on I-84 westbound in Waterbury. The closure is necessary to facilitate construction activities associated with the ongoing Route 8/I-84 Interchange (Mixmaster) rehabilitation project in Waterbury.
Beginning Sunday, February 14, 2021, the right lane on I-84 westbound between Exit 21 (to Bank Street) extending past Exit 20 (to Route 8 northbound) will be closed for the foreseeable future.
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is working to inform motorists and local residents of current and upcoming construction activities through project newsletters, press notices, travel alerts, social media, as well as the project website, https://mixmaster-rehab.com.
