Scheduled Periodic Detours of Governor Street On-Ramp to I-84 Eastbound in East Hartford
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing the scheduled detour of the on-ramp from Governor Street to I-84 eastbound in East Hartford, periodically, between the hours of 7 PM and 6 AM, beginning August 15, 2021, through November 22, 2021. The detour is necessary to facilitate ongoing construction activities associated with the rehabilitation of Bridge 05844A carrying I-84 eastbound over Route 15 in East Hartford.
The ramp from Governor Street to I-84 eastbound will be detoured to Route 2 eastbound to Exit 5, back onto Route 2 westbound, to I-84 eastbound. Detour signage will be posted.
