Scheduled Nighttime Closure of Route 8 Southbound in Waterbury

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing the scheduled closure of Route 8 southbound in Waterbury, October 6 through October 8, 2021, between the hours of 9 PM and 6 AM to facilitate final line striping activities.

Motorists are advised to follow the posted detours.

Motorists should follow Route 8 southbound to Exit 32 (Riverside Street). Follow Riverside Street to Route 8 southbound Naugatuck/Bridgeport on-ramp.
