Nighttime Bridge Deck Repairs in Danbury
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that nighttime bridge deck repairs will take place on the I-84 eastbound Exit 3 on-ramp to Route 7 in Danbury. The work is scheduled to occur from Tuesday, October 12, 2021, to Thursday, October 14, 2021, between the hours of 10:30 p.m. and 4:00 a.m.
Motorists should anticipate a signed detour during the work hours. The detour route will be I-84 eastbound to Exit 4 to Route 7. Traffic control signing patterns and crash units will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to remain alert, drive cautiously, and to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
