The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Route 612 (Haughton Road) in Bozrah.
The project consists of milling and resurfacing a 0.14-mile segment of Route 612 (Haughton Road) in Bozrah. The milling segment for this project is scheduled to occur from Friday, April 23, 2021, through Friday, April 30, 2021. The resurfacing segment of this project is anticipated to be performed on Wednesday, May 5, 2021, through Tuesday, May 11, 2021.
This project is included in the Department of Transportation’s 2021 Vendor Resurfacing Program.
Motorists can expect lane closures to occur on State Route 612 (Haughton Road) from Route 163 to Route 608 (Fitchville Road) in Bozrah. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (Monday – Friday).
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to remain alert, drive cautiously, and to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
