The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Route 58 in Redding.
The project consists of milling and resurfacing a 2.64-mile segment of Route 102 from South Lane Road to Route 107 (Putnam Park Road). The milling portion of the project is scheduled to occur from Thursday July 8, 2021, through Thursday July 8, 2021. The resurfacing portion of the project is scheduled to occur from Monday July 12, 2021, through Friday July 16, 2021.
This project is included in the Department of Transportation’s 2021 Vendor Resurfacing Program.
Motorists can expect delays and one lane alternating traffic. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 7:00 am to 4:00 pm. (Monday through Friday).
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to remain alert, drive cautiously, and to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
