The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Route 32 in Windham.
The project consists of milling and resurfacing a 0.72-mile segment of Route 32 in Windham. The milling portion of the project is scheduled for Saturday, September 25, 2021, through Sunday, September 26, 2021. The resurfacing portion of the project is anticipated to be performed on Saturday, October 2, 2021, through Sunday, October 3, 2021.
This project is included in the Department of Transportation’s 2021 Vendor Resurfacing Program.
Motorists can expect lane closures to occur on Route 32 from Thread City Crossing to the south junction of Route 66 in Windham. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (Saturday – Sunday).
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to remain alert, drive cautiously, and to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
