Milling and Resurfacing Project on Route 195 in Mansfield
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Route 195 in Mansfield.
The project consists of milling and resurfacing a 2.28-mile segment of Route 195 in Mansfield. The milling segment for this project is scheduled for Sunday evening, May 16, 2021, through Monday morning, May 24, 2021. The resurfacing segment of this project is anticipated to be performed on Sunday evening, June 6, 2021, through Friday morning, June 11, 2021.
This project is included in the Department of Transportation’s 2021 Vendor Resurfacing Program.
Motorists can expect lane closures to occur on Route 195 from Route 275 to Route 44 in Mansfield. Two state troopers, traffic control personnel, crash attenuator trucks, and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The night work schedule for this project is from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. (Sunday – Friday).
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to remain alert, drive cautiously, and to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
